Hendre Fawr
Hendre Fawr is the house and terraces behind the house.
- Fawr = Large
- Hendre – is from the 2 welsh words:-
- Hen = Old
- dre = Farmstead
- Apparantly there is an old Welsh custom of having two houses. One in the valley for the winter time (hendre) and another in the uplands for the summer months (hafod).
Tan-y-Graig
Tan-y-Graig is the name of the 6.5 acres of pasture land that goes with Hendre Fawr.

- Graig = Rock
